There are citizens of US and Europe among 700 hostages in Syria - Putin

Almaty. October 19. KazTAG - There are citizens of the US and Europe among 700 refugees in  Syria seized by terrorists, reports TASS.
"We have no information confirming a big number of refugees, about whom President Putin was talking about recently, we are skeptical about these data," said Shaun Robertson, official representative of the UN Ministry of Defense.
V. Putin marked there are a number of problems in Syria. As an example he referred to the situation in the south of Ephrate.
"This territory is controlled by our American partners, they are targeted on the Kurds military groups. But they clearly have some failures- there are ISIS representatives in some settlements. Lately they have been expanding their control zone, they have seized 130 families- about 700 people are hostages," said Putin.
Putin added that the militants put forward an ultimatum and certain requirements and warned that if they are not executed, they would shoot 10 people every day.
“The day before yesterday, 10 people were shot - executed. They began to perform their threats.  It is a horror, a catastrophe, in my opinion," he said.
