“On November 20, a meeting was held in Astana between CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov and Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan Colonel General Ruslan Zhaksylykov. (…) The parties discussed preparations for the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, a joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Councils in Astana on November 28,” reads the statement.
The meeting participants also shared their views on the current military-political situation in the CSTO area of responsibility.
