Smuggling of 56 tons of fuels and lubricants prevented from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan
Almaty. September 29. KazTAG - Smuggling of 56 tons of fuels and lubricants (fuels and lubricants) without documents have been prevented from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyz mass media reported.
“The border guards of the Chaldybar-road checkpoint stopped the illegal transportation of fuels and lubricants to the territory of Kyrgyzstan,” said the public relations and media department of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan.
Freightliner Columbia truck driven by a citizen Kyrgyzstan arrived at the Chaldybar-Avtodorozhniy checkpoint from Kazakhstan. During the inspection, the border patrol revealed fuel and lubricants with the smell of gasoline. However, in the accompanying documents it was stated “a mixture of light hydrocarbons - a fuel component for an internal combustion engine” .
Later a Volvo-VN660 car, also driven by a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, arrived at the same checkpoint. The accompanying documents indicated that "a mixture of light hydrocarbons - a fuel component for an internal combustion engine" is being transported.
“But during the inspection of vehicles it was revealed that truck drivers tried to smuggle 56 tons of fuel and lubricants into the territory of Kyrgyzstan without proper documents," reads the report.
