"From a smart house to a smart post: a district with advanced technologies will be created in Astana. It will be located in the old part of the city, in Zhastar mictoridstrict. With introduction of new technologies 10 spheres will be improved: provision of urban amenities (warm walkways, heating of roads), smart pedestrian and transport planning, digital- mobile entrepreneurship, smart infrastructure (illumination, storm water drain), ecological solutions ( separate litter collection), security," reads the publication.
Astana Innovations will be responsible for the know-how development.
"Investors will inject money into creation of "island of the future: in the capital. Creation of a sample district will be a standard for further construction of microdistricts," the message said
