Short-term bonuses of Otbasy top managers increased by 37% over the year - KASE

Almaty. June 23. KazTAG – The bonuses paid to key management of HCSB Otbasy Bank JSC for 2021 increased to KZT379.2 million, indicates the bank's audited consolidated financial statements posted on the website of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).
Remuneration to key management of Otbasy bank increased by 9.1% to KZT379.2m, including KZT84m of accrued liabilities. Wages increased by 5.2% to KZT264.3m, short-term bonuses - by 37% to KZT29m, long-term bonuses - by 15% to KZT84m.
The bank's administrative expenses increased by 18% and amounted to KZT22.1 billion in 2021. Of these, personnel expenses for the reporting year increased by 13.2%, to KZT11.85 billion, expenses for the maintenance of the board of directors increased by 34% to KZT16 .7 million
The bank's net profit for the reporting period doubled, to KZT66bn, profit before tax - by 2.3 times, to KZT76bn.
The assets of HCSB Otbasy Bank JSC for 2021 amounted to KZT2.8 trillion, having increased by 64% over the year. The bank's liabilities increased by 70%, to KZT2.4 trillion, the bank's equity capital - by 35%, to KZT381 billion.
