“Today, a group of people led by Vladislav Bakalchuk, Sergey Anufriyev and Vladimir Bakin attempted to seize the Wildberries offices in Moscow. Three people were injured, we are checking their condition,” said Wildberries CEO Tatyana Bakalchuk.
According to her, this was an attempt at a raider takeover, and the attackers did not agree on negotiations with the management.
TASS reported that there was a shooting near the entrance to the Wildberries office in the Romanov Dvor business center, several people were detained.
According to the Minister of Trade Arman Shakkaliyev, as of the end of 2023, the number of registered Kazakhstani sellers on the Wildberries platform was 55,704. Since the beginning of the year, more than 120 new franchise pick-up points have been opened in Kazakhstan (an increase of 20% for the period January-March 2024).
