Russia has lowered selling price for Sputnik V vaccine

Almaty. February 26. KazTAG - Russia has lowered the selling price for the Sputnik V vaccine, RBK reports.
“The Ministry of Health has re-registered the maximum selling price for the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine. Now it  makes 866 rubles 81 kopecks for two components (excluding value-added tax), “ reads the statement.
The price was lowered from previous 1942 rubles.
"The registered maximum selling price applies exclusively to the vaccine used in large-scale state Russian immunization programs," said Denis Manturo, head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
He added that the price will be the same for all production site. The price was reduced due to the development and optimization of industrial production technology and the growth of its volumes.
