“The law on reserve service will apply to adult citizens of Kazakhstan. At the same time, the main principle of recruitment for service is voluntariness,” reads the report.
The law applies to those who meet the established health requirements, as well as age restrictions: for officers - up to 60 years old, for sergeants and soldiers - up to 50 years old.
In addition, reservists will undergo training in military units in the region of their residence.
To ensure reserve service, funding will be allocated from the state budget. Reservists will be provided with a minimum monthly salary during training sessions, and during the 30-day training camp they will be able to count on payments in the amount of their average monthly salary.
