Rescuers helped 68 tourists in Almaty mountains since spring

Almaty. September 28. KazTAG - Rescuers have helped 68 tourists in the Almaty mountains since spring, reports the city's rescue service.
“According to the data of the unified dispatching service - 109, from spring 2020 to September 28, the rescuers of the Rescue Service of Almaty have  received 37 calls asking for help in the mountains. They have rescued four people in the highlands, transported one deceased tourist. In total, during this period, rescuers have rescued 68 people," reads the report.
Last Sunday rescuers evacuated a 55-year-old woman with a leg injury from the Gorelnik waterfall.
