“As you know, vaccination in Kazakhstan started in February this year. To date, people in Kazakhstan have access to vaccination of 2.3 million doses. We are accelerating the pace of vaccination, starting from 11 thousand people per day from April 1 to 135 thousand per day by now. The rate of vaccination has increased almost 12 times. At the moment we have and provide our citizens with a choice of 3 vaccines - Sputnik V, QazVac and Hayat Vax, which are available to the population in all regions of Kazakhstan, "he said.
According to the Ministry of Health, to date, 1 507 389 people have received the first component and 422 279 citizens have received the second component.
