“The cost of one dose of the vaccine, according to the estimates of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization will vary from $10 to $20, or at the current rate - from 4142 tenge to 8284 tenge. According to the Ministry of Health Care, if the vaccine is purchased through GAVI, the budget will need from 9 037 800 000 tenge to 18 075 700 000 tenge excluding transportation costs, ”said Bagdat Kozhakhmetov, official representative of the Ministry of Health Care of Kazakhstan.
"The people of the risk zone will receive the vaccine free of charge," he said.
“ 2 182 000 people or 11.5% are subject to vaccination in Kazakhstan," he said.
