"Combat with corruption is a priority direction for us. We are reconsidering our strategy in this sector. We plan to establish a project office, which will analyze all the normative-legal acts, research the loopholes and unregulated issues in order to take preventive measures. Non regulation, certain normative-legal gaps in most cases are the causes of corruption crimes," said Askhat Aimagambetov, Minister of Education and Science.
He said people from different sectors will work in the office.
"MES is not only schools, it is organizations of preschool, extended education, universities, colleges - here is a big spectrum of issues, all of them need an analysis in order to take right decisions," he added.
He added specialized monitoring groups for anti-corruption issues will be created involving NGOs and mass media.
