Potato and sunflower oil prices in Kazakhstan increased extremely within a week

Almaty. January 17. KazTAG – The price for potatoes in Kazakhstan has increased extremely in a week from January 8 to January 14 by 4.7%, reports the First Credit Bureau (FCB).
“The cost of potatoes has increased (within a week from January 8 to January 14 – KazTAG) by 4.7%. Such rates look extreme for January,” reads the report.
Sunflower oil has increased in price by 1.8%. It has been rising in price for 26 weeks.
Prices for socially important food products have increased by 0.5%.
