Police apologized to KazTAG journalist for unlawful actions of investigator

Karaganda. June 28. KazTAG - Police Department of Karaganda region apologized to KazTAG journalist Diana Saparkyzy for illegal actions of investigator Zhalgas Tursynov.
“Last night at about 00.00 an unknown man knocked on the door of Diana Saparkyzy and disturbing her. The man was taken to the police station - a protocol was drawn up against a 39-year-old resident of the city under part 1 of Article 437 (violation of silence) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a fine was imposed in the amount of five monthly calculation indices (MCI),” said police spokesman Kudiyarov.
At the same time, he added, on behalf of the management of the Police Department, the department for combating organized crime and the department for combating cybercrime find out who exactly provided the Karaganda citizen with the address of the journalist.
“At the same time, on the part of the police officers in the Mikhailovsky police department, rude actions were committed against the journalist Diana Saparkyzy when she tried to write a statement.
