Pension savings of Kazakhstani people increased by KZT260 billion in December

Astana. January 31. KazTAG - Pension savings of Kazakhstani people increased by T260 billion or 1.8% and exceeded T14.66 trillion in December 2022, reports the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
“Pension savings of Kazakhstani people in December 2022 increased by KZT260.3 billion or 1.8% and exceeded KZT14.66 trillion,” reads the report.
Net income from investment of pension assets in December increased by KZT105bn to KZT7.8trn.
The number of individual pension accounts of contributors on mandatory pension contributions as of January 1, 2023 amounted to 10.9 million. The amount of pension payments for December was KZT39.4 billion.
