Over $180 bn direct investments attracted to Kazakhstan from Europe within 27 years- Nazarbayev

Astana. October 19. KazTAG - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has met the representatives of European business circles within the frameworks of his working trip to Brussels (Belgium), Akorda reports.
"Reporting to the delegates of the meeting the President marked that the European states are important trade-economic and investment partners of Kazakhstan," reads the message.
"In the years of independence over $180 bn direct foreign investments have been attracted to Kazakhstan from Europe. We have been closely cooperating with the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development which has financed projects to over 7 bn euro," he said.
He marked the commodity circulation with the European partners has been steadily growing, while over 3000 companies with European company work in Kazakhstan.
