Over 1 thousand people contracted COVID-19 and pneumonia with signs of CVI in Kazakhstan per day

Astana. January 18. KazTAG - Over 1 thousand people have contracted COVID-19 (CVI +) and pneumonia with signs of coronavirus infection (CVI-) in Kazakhstan per day.
“From March 13, 2020 to January 18, 2021, CVI +: morbidity - 169 099 (1003 over the past day), mortality - 2416 (eight over the past day); from August 1, 2020 to January 18, 2021 CVI-: morbidity - 46 848 (17 over the past day), mortality - 540 (two over the past day) ", said the report.
According to the Ministry of Health, at the moment 24 875 people continue getting treatment for CVI (13 180 CVI + and 11 695 CVI-), 6570 patients are in hospitals, and 18 305 patients are at the outpatient level.
“ 294 patients are in serious condition, in a state of extreme severity - 60 patients; on artificial lung ventilation - 40 patients, ” said the report.
