Number of flights increased between Kazakhstan and UAE

Astana. January 23. KazTAG - The number of flights between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be increased, reports the press service of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development.
“As part of the agreements reached between the aviation authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the UAE, following the results of the visit of Kazakhstan by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the UAE on January 15-17, 2023, the number of flights between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the UAE is increasing,” said the statement.
In order to ensure the availability of air transportation and reduce the cost of air tickets, from January 22, the low-cost airline Wizz Air Abu Dhabi increased the number of flights between the cities of Abu Dhabi and Almaty from three to four flights per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) . Flights are carried out on Airbus A320/A321 type aircraft.
Starting from January 26, Fly Dubai plans to increase the number of flights on the Dubai-Astana route from 10 to 14 flights per week and from January 28 on the Dubai-Almaty route from 10 to 14 flights per week.
From February 28, Fly Dubai plans to resume flights on the Shymkent-Dubai route with a frequency of two flights a week (Wednesday, Saturday). Fly Dubai flights will be operated on B-737 type aircraft.
"The increase in the number of flights contributes to the further development of tourism, business and trade and economic cooperation between the two countries," reads the message.
