"This year 8.4 bn tenge have been allocated for support of small and medium business in the Almaty region. Up to date no micro-credits have been provided. Although within the frameworks of the program for development of productive employment 5 bn tenge are planned for micro crediting and education," said Zhenis Tuyakov, deputy akim of the Almaty region.
Out of 431 mln tenge allocated last year for crediting of cities' inhabitants only 29 mln tenge were provided to three individuals.
"Growth of retail commodity circulation slowed down to 4.3% against 13.1% last year," he said.
