New route of Almaty - Issyk-Kul road will be development

Almaty. December 5. KazTAG - The Kazakh-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Council made a decision to begin work on the feasibility study of the Almaty - Issyk-Kul road through Uzynagash, Kastek and Cholpon-Ata. The length of the new route will make 280 km, said the official information source of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.
"The parties noted their interest in implementing the project to build the Almaty - Issyk-Kul highway. A decision was made to start work on developing a feasibility study for the new Almaty - Uzynagash - Kastek - Mikhailovka - Cholpan-Ata route, 280 km long, using grants from the Asian Development Bank," reads the report.
