"Foreign minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov is paying an official visit to Turkey. The agenda of negotiations includes the issues of upcoming official visit of N. Nazarbayev to Turkey in summer. The parties are preparing to the session of strategic cooperation council on a high level chaired by the leaders of two states," the message reports.
K. Abdrakhmanov and Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Chavusoglu agreed to complete coordination of the agenda and draft documents which will be signed within the frameworks of Nazarbayev's visit to Ankara.
The parties plan to conclude a number of economic contracts, transport, agriculture, small and medium business, tourism are on the agenda. Kazakhstan is interested in development of transport-transit potentials of two states.
The parties declared intention of further strengthening of Astana process in Syria.
