Nazarbayev presented Putin with author's copy of his memoirs

Astana. December 5. KazTAG – Former President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev presented Russian President Vladimir Putin with an author’s copy of his memoirs, TASS reports.
“Nursultan Abishevich sent his book to Vladimir Vladimirovich. It will be handed over to the president. This is such an original copy,” said the Russian leader’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
Journalists note that in the book, Nazarbayev devoted an entire chapter to Putin. According to Nazarbayev, Putin is “a man of word and deed”; he managed to return his country to the status of a world power. Nazarbayev writes that from the very beginning he made friends with Putin.
“They met so often as heads of state that Putin once even joked that he would probably register in Kazakhstan,” noted a Russian media report.
Book “My Life. From dependence to freedom” was released on December 1 and is sold in stores in Kazakhstan. The circulation is 7,500 copies. The book was published in Russian and Kazakh languages. The price in the “Meloman” store is T6590.
