More than 23 bn tenge spent on coronavirus combat from state reserve of Kazakhstan

Astana. April 2. KazTAG - More than 23 bn tenge have been spent on coronavirus combat from the reserve of the Government, said Dauren Abayev, Minister of Information and Public Consent of Kazakhstan.
"As for the funding of coronavirus combat. Once again I have to say that it does not concern the anti-crisis measures voiced by the president. Three trenches were allocated from the state reserve. 1.609 bn tenge were allocated on January 29. 428.227 ml tenge were allocated on February 21. 2.143 bn tenge were allocated on March 25," he said.
He added that the money was spent on procurement of medicines, medical goods, outfit of employees of civil service, procurement of disinfection means and others. Applications have been filed for budget specification in order to pay bonuses to medical workers involved in coronavirus combat," he added.
