More than 1 million Kazakhstani people have incomes below subsistence level

Astana. December 13. KazTAG – More than 1,082 thousand Kazakhstani people have incomes below the subsistence level, reports the statistics agency,
“In Kazakhstan, 1,082,073 people have incomes below the subsistence minimum,” reads the report.
According to the information, there are 536,546 people living in cities with incomes below the subsistence level, and 545,527 in villages.
According to statistics, 45,241 people in Kazakhstan have incomes below the cost of the food basket. Of these, 20,590 are city dwellers and 24,651 are villagers.
