More than 1.5 thousand cases of COVID-19 and pneumonia with signs of CVI were recorded in Kazakhstan per day

Astana. January 22. KazTAG - More than 1.5 thousand people have contracted COVID-19 (CVI +) and pneumonia with signs of coronavirus infection (CVI-) in Kazakhstan per day, said the press service of the Ministry of Health.
“From March 13, 2020 to January 22, 2021 CVI +: morbidity - 173 842 (1430 over the past day), mortality - 2457 (11 over the past day); from August 1, 2020 to January 22, 2021 CVI-: morbidity - 47 211 (96 over the past day), mortality - 549 (two over the past day) ", reads the message.
According to the Ministry of Health, at the moment, 25 469 people continue getting treatment for CVI (13 788 CVI + and 11 681 CVI-), 6791 patients are in hospitals, and 18 678 patients are at the outpatient basis.
“Among the patients with CVI + and CVI-, there are: in serious condition - 291 patients, in a state of extreme severity - 50 patients; on ventilators - 39 patients, ” said the report.
