Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan listed most common types of Internet fraud

Astana. August 2. KazTAG - Sanzhar Adilov,  head of the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs , has voiced the most common types of Internet fraud in Kazakhstan.
The most common online scams include:
- purchase of non-existent goods or services using fake online ads, where a prerequisite is to make a full or partial prepayment before receiving the goods;
- investing money in various projects, games under the pretext of getting profit;
- transfer of money to other accounts at the request of allegedly bank security officers;
- voluntary transfer by citizens of their personal data, or their input on phishing sites, as a result of which attackers gain access to the personal account and all bank accounts, and then withdraw money from accounts, issue loans, buy goods and arrange loans through Internet sites microcredit organizations through the use of stolen or lost documents of citizens.
