Ministry of Emergency Situations about floods in the Turkestan region: Water flow continues, forecasts are disappointing

Turkestan. February 3. KazTAG - The water flow in the Turkestan region continues, the forecasts are disappointing, said the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“The rains in the Turkestan region have stopped. However, the flow of water continues. Forecasts of weather forecasters are also unfavorable,” reads the message released following a meeting on flooding in the Turkestan region, chaired by Minister of Emergency Situations Yuri Ilyin.
The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations instructed to prevent complications of the situation and quickly deal with the consequences.
“With joint efforts, we prevented the flooding in the village of Maidantal. Rescuers and local authorities continue to work around the clock. More than 200 people and almost 800 small cattle have been evacuated. More than 13,000 bags with inert materials have been laid,” the message reported.
Nobody has suffered. The situation is under special control.
