"For the first time we are sending our athletes to the games on the new Olympic types of sports. It is streetball, golf and etc. Our leading athletes, for instance Olga Rypakova, went to take part in the traditional types of sports. We rely hopes on the young generation, on our young athletes who are ready for big achievements," he said at the solemn ceremony dedicated to the Sports Day.
"The new types of sports may affect the results. Such types as rock climbing, street ball are just developing in our state. It can affect the score, but in general Kazakhstan keeps its positions tight," he added.
