“In April 2024, a group of previously familiar people were drinking alcohol in the courtyard of a house in the village of Ainakol in the city of Aksu in Pavlodar region. A conflict occurred between the men and one of them called his uncle to come and deal with the offender. Having arrived at the specified address, the man using the insignificant reason that the offender of his nephew did not greet him, out of a feeling of sudden anger and personal hostility, decided to kill the latter,” said the police of the Pavlodar region.
The defendant grabbed the offender by the neck, lifted him up and began to strangle him, while striking him. The victim died on the spot, and the perpetrator fled the scene of the crime.
The court sentenced him to eight years in prison. The man will serve his sentence in a medium-security penal institution.
