"By the order of Kapshagay city court dated June 14 change to unserved imprisonment term into a lighter punishment has been canceled. He will keep on serving the penalty under the court's verdict," said the press-service of Almaty region's court.
As it was reported A. Kuznetsov was convicted under p.1 art 104 (manslaughter) and sentenced 1.6 years imprisonment on June 29 2015.
The appellate court sentenced A. Kuznetsov 8 years imprisonment under p.3 art.106 (intentional health harm resulting in death) on October 29 2016.
The fight near Chukotka bar in which Syrym Muratkaliyev died occurred in March 2015.
