Kazakhstani labor productivity in agriculture is lower than in Russia and Uzbekistan - Atameken
Almaty. May 22. KazTAG- The labour productivity in Kazakhstan is 2.5 times lower than in Russia and 3.5 times lower than in Uzbekistan, said Yerbol Yeseneyev, advisor on the agricultural complex of Atameken.
"Labour productivity is low, we lag behind our neighbors, our labour productivity per 1 hectare makes $400, in Russia- it is more than $1000, in Uzbekistan- almost $1.5 thousand," he said.
He added that Kazakhstan failed to boost the production volume in cattle breeding.
"Although there has been insignificant growth, having serious strategic resources such as pastures, you failed to use them in the time when there are perspective markets," he added.
