“On June 17, 2022, the 12th WTO Ministerial Conference chaired by Kazakhstan ended with the adoption of major decisions in the field of international trade, negotiations on a number of agreements that have lasted for decades. Kazakhstan, which joined the WTO just six years ago, became the youngest country to chair the ministerial conference. For the first time in history, the supreme governing body of the WTO was headed by a country of the Eurasian region,” said the report.
