Kazakhstan outstrips Russia in world ranking of digital competitiveness

Almaty. June 20. KazTAG - Kazakhstan outstrips Russia in the world ranking of digital competitiveness, reports Kommersant.
"Russia took the 40th place in the world ranking of digital competitiveness developed by the specialists of the International Institute for Management Development . Last year Russia was on the 42nd line of the list. (...) Russia's neighbors in the rating are Kazakhstan (38th place), Thailand (39th), Italy (41st) and Saudi Arabia (42nd), " the report said.
According to the publication, the leader of the rating is the United States. Singapore, which took the first place in last year's rating, moved to the 2nd place. Sweden also lost one position, becoming the third. On the fourth place is Denmark, on the fifth - Switzerland.
In total, the rating includes 63 countries. The overall assessment of countries is determined taking into account 50 indicators and three factors: "knowledge" (availability of qualified personnel and scientific developments), "technologies" (legal regulation and technological infrastructure) and "readiness for the future" (degree of implementation).
