Astana. September 16. KazTAG - Kazakhstan is preparing to approve an agreement on a diplomatic visa-free regime with Congo.
"Approve the attached agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Government of Republic of Congo on mutual exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports, concluded in Astana on August 2, 2024," reads the draft government resolution.
According to the document, citizens of one of the parties, holders of valid diplomatic passports, have the right to repeatedly enter and exit, as well as transit and stay without a visa on the territory of the other party for a period not exceeding a total of 30 calendar days within 180 calendar days from the date of first entry.
"The adoption of the project will allow for the development of close cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of the Congo, establishing a mutual exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports," reads the report.
