Kazakhstan commissioned 4.7% more housing

Astana. September 18. KazTAG -  The total area of housing commissioned in Kazakhstan increased by 4.7% and amounted to 10.5 thousand square meters in January-August 2024, compared with January-August 2023, reports the statistics agency.
"In January-August 2024, compared with January-August  2023, the total area of housing commissioned in Kazakhstan increased by 4.7% and amounted to 10.5 thousand square meters," reads the report.
In January-August 2024, the volume of construction work, in general, increased by 8.8% and amounted to T4 trillion. The largest volume of work was carried out on the construction of buildings - T2 trillion, non-residential - T1.3 trillion and residential buildings - T689 billion.
