Kazakhstan and Russia to cooperate in fight against cybercrime

Astana. October 21. KazTAG - Kazakhstan and Russia are going to cooperate in the fight against cybercrime, reports the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan.
"The departments considered cooperation between the internal affairs agencies of Kazakhstan and the Russia in combating cybercrime, including Internet fraud. In addition, the ministers signed a joint decision and planned events for the coming period. The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and an atmosphere of mutual respect, which contributed to a constructive dialogue and the adoption of important decisions," reads the report.
A meeting was held in Moscow, in which the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Sadenov and Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev took part.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the bureau for the coordination of the fight against organized crime and other dangerous types of crime in the territory of the CIS member states.
