Karim Massimov is offered to hand over Nazarbayev

Astana. June 14. KazTAG - Former chairman of the National Security Committee (NSC) Karim Massimov is being asked to tell the whole truth about the January events in order to gain freedom, Horda reports.
“I personally don’t think that Massimov was the organizer. Therefore, if he speaks loudly, you can treat him leniently. If, for example, he was forced to carry out the orders of the chairman of the Security Council (before the January events, the Security Council was headed by Nursultan Nazarbayev). And I note that Karim Massimov was the prime minister and Nazarbayev’s trusted man for many years. He carried out not only his personal assignments, but also took care of the personal business of the first president. Massimov was withdrawing the assets from Europe after the famous Kazakhgate, and was also involved in the placement of assets of “Old Kazakhstan” in Southeast Asia, China, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and the Emirates. If Massimov reveals all the transactions and asks for freedom in return, then I think we should give him this pardon,” said Majilis deputy Ermurat Bapi.
According to Bapi, Karim Massimov could not organize the January events. According to him, Massimov should outline the entire chain of January events and name the main organizer.
“It is more important for us to find out information about the withdrawn assets than to keep him in prison. There is no benefit for the people from his imprisonment,” said Bapi.
