Japan voiced protest to Russia in connection with planned firing in the area of Kuril

Almaty. October 18. KazTAG - The Japanese Government has protested Russia in connection with plans to hold a new series of firing in the southern part of the Kuril Islands, reports TASS.
“Strengthening of presence of the Russian armed forces on the four northern islands does not match our position. This is unacceptable," said Yosychide Suga, Secretary General of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In his words, the protest has been filed through the Japanese Embassy in Moscow.
The Russian authorities have notified Tokyo about a new series of shooting in the area of the South Kuril island Iturup on October 17-20, 21-27 and  28-31.
