Japan to cancel civil drills for case of ballistic missile launch by North Korea

Almaty. June 21. KazTAG - The Government of Japan is going to cancel the civil drills on evacuation among the population for the case of ballistic missile launch by North Korea planned in 2018 in different districts of the state, reports TASS.
"This step has been taken as probability of missile attack is small as North Korea has been actively negotiating with the world community, including on denuclearization of the Korean peninsula," reports Kyodo.
Japan's Government does not want to frustrate the atmosphere of adjustment of direct contacts with North Korea. Tokyo plans to organize a meeting of Japan's Prime Minister Sinzo Abe and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in 2018. The ground of the Eastern economic forum in Vladivostok is considered as a place of the meeting.
