Germany extradites suspect of Bulgarian journalist murder

Almaty. October 19. KazTAG - Severin Krasimirov, citizen of Bulgaria, suspected of murdering Victoria Marinova, Bulgarian journalist, has been extradited fr om Germany to the motherland, reports Kommersant.
"A week ago the suspect was arrested in the city of Stade, wh ere he was hiding in the house of his relatives," reads the report with a reference to the Interior Ministry of Bulgaria.
“The investigation, which initially considered the version that V. Marinova was killed in connection with her professional activity, changed the opinion after S. Krasimirov was revealed as a suspect. S.Krasimirov said that he was not going to kill the TV journalist and continues insisting that he did not rape her. S.Krasimirov became the second suspect accused of murdering the TV journalist. Shortly after the murder, a Romanian citizen was detained for the same charge, who was released," reads the message.
S. Krasimirov may be sentenced life imprisonment without the right for early release.
