Fatality details of Ukrainian citizen after liposuction revealed in Almaty court

Almaty. October 19. KazTAG - Possible reasons of death of Ukrainian citizen Dana Agamuradova after liposuction, made by a plastic surgeon Dmitry Pisarev, have been revealed in the Almaty court.
According to the statement, viral hepatitis C was diagnosed in the deceased patient.
The party of the victim believes that the disease was a contraindication for the operation. Meanwhile, plastic surgeon D. Pisarev declared that hepatitis without exacerbation is not a contraindication for the operation.
The side of the victim believes the operation was carried out in an unsuitable room for this - in the treatment room of the Center for Aesthetics of Olga Rubas LLP.
It was also revealed that the plastic surgeon performed the functions of an anesthesiologist-resuscitator, which led to the wrong choice of anesthesia — local  instead of general anesthesia.
The lawyer of the defendant in court stated that liposuction can be performed under local anesthesia with a minimum amount of fat of 2.5 thousand ml.
It has been revealed that the patient died because of fat embolism (vascular blockage with drops of fat).
“This happens during surgery, whether under local or general anesthesia. No methods could help prevent it (...) I observed all the norms," said D. Pisarev.
Meanwhile, the side of the victim in the court said that the operation was carried out using a "handicraft" apparatus, adapted for the operation.
