“A special issue is the observance of the rights of workers by business entities that attract foreign labor. The most common violation is the disproportion in pay for the work of domestic and foreign specialists. 66 submissions were made on the identified violations, about 228 persons were brought to administrative responsibility, fines for KZT72 million were imposed, 266 permits were revoked by akimats, 150 foreigners were expelled from the country,” said the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Prosecutors, together with authorized state bodies, ensured the repayment of wage arrears to 4,000 employees in 68 enterprises in the amount of KZT1.5 billion in 2022.
