Director of Almatyzhollaboratory fined 40 mln tenge for bribery

Astana. June 18. KazTAG - Sakhi Kenzhegul, director of Almatyzhollaboratory, has been fined 40 mln tenge for bribe taking from Zagapar Doshanov, director of Kazakhdorstroy Ltd, for agreed change of road construction materials into cheaper options, reports the anti-corruption service.
"The anti-corruption service of the Almaty region completed pretrial investigation in respect of Kenzhegul S., director of Almatyzhollaboratory, in the period from December 20188 untik April 2019 he got 2 mln tenge bribe from Doshanov Z., director of Kazakhdorstroy, for agreed change of construction materials into cheaper options, he was also taking part in illegal business activity. Kenzhegul S. has been fined 40 mln tenge on June 12 on the base of the verdict of Taldykorgan city court," reads the message.
Doshanov has been fined 30 mln tenge.
Kenzhegul and Doshanov have been deprived of the right to take posts in the state service and left-governance bodies for the life term.
