"In 2008 he left to the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan. There he joined the terror group Djund al-Halifat, responsible for the preparing of two blasts in Atyrau in October 2911. He illegally crossed the Syrian border in 2013 and joined Jebhad-an-Nusra. Sincee 2015 he was hiding in Turkey where he was arrested," said the NSC.
The committee reminded Urynbasar Munatov and Damir Znaliyev were arrested abroad and extradited to Kazakhstan in 2013-2017. They were both sentenced 20 years imprisonment.
