Citizen of Kazakhstan beaten by Chinese workers in Almaty region
Almaty. October 9. KazTAG - A citizen of Kazakhstan has been beaten by the Chinese workers in the Almaty region, reports the press-service of akim of the region.
"There was a conflict between a citizen of Kazakhstan and workers - citizens of China in the Yeskeldy district of Almaty region on October 7 at 19.00. As a result the citizen of Kazakhstan suffered minor bodily injuries," said the report.
Batyrzhan Baizhumanov, deputy akim of the Almaty region left for the scene of the incident and conducted a meeting with the management of the shift town.
"During the meeting the workers - citizens of Kazakhstan said they are dissatisfied with the working conditions, accommodation and number of labor migrants. These issues will be discussed at the session dedicated to construction of Almaty-Ust-Kamenogorsk motorway involving Askar Mamin, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Amabdyk Batalov, akim of the Almaty region and the director of Citic Construction Ltd," said the message.
