Almaty. July 10. KazTAG - Chinese citizens have been warned of unknown pneumonia in Kazakhstan, “more dangerous than the coronavirus infection”.
“According to Kazakh media reports, the incidence of pneumonia in Atyrau, Aktobe and Shymkent has increased significantly since mid-June. Currently, about 500 people are infected and more than 30 people are in critical condition. In the first half of this year, 1772 people have died of pneumonia. In June - 628 people have died, including Chinese citizens. Mortality from this disease is much higher than from the coronavirus pneumonia, ” the message said on the website of the Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan.
The warning for Chinese citizens said that "the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan and other institutions are conducting a comparative study of the pneumonia virus".
