"Rustam Akhmetov has been appointed as a chairman of the committee for protection and development of competition. An appropriate order has been signed by Ruslan Dalenov, Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan," reads the report.
Akhmetov has been working in MNE structure since 2014. Lately he worked as a deputy chairman of the committee for natural monopolies regulation, protection of competition and consumers' rights.
