Performance of the "anchor" projects in the mono city of Khromtau was considered at the meeting in the regional akimat.
"Anchor" projects are investments in private business to establish new and expand existing production facilities. The goal is to increase and diversify production, create new work places," reports the press-service.
According to the akimat, 3 such projects will be performed in Khromtau. According to the head of the department of industrial and innovative development Yerlan Nazarov, active work is being conducted on the plant for production of ceramic tiles. The first production line will be launched in August. The total cost of the project is 13.5 bln tenge. The plant will employ 520 people.
