“Brazilian Air Force investigators are working with colleagues from three other countries to analyze the black box data from the Azerbaijan Airlines plane that crashed in Kazakhstan on December 25, killing 38 people. The Brazilian Air Force said in a statement that nine foreign investigators have gathered with experts at the Air Accident Investigation and Prevention Center in the Brazilian capital to work on data extracted from the flight recorder,” reads the statement.
The team includes three investigators from Kazakhstan, and six from Azerbaijan and Russia.
“Investigators in Brasilia are working with recordings, cockpit audio, and the plane’s flight data recorders,” the Brazilian Air Force said.
According to their statement, the investigators have no deadline to publish their findings, which will ultimately be made by the Kazakh authorities.
