Belt road construction will improve ecology in Almaty - Nazarbayev

Astana. December 12. KazTAG - The belt road construction in Almaty will improve the ecological situation, said Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan.
"38 000 cars will not get in the city, they will bypass it. It will improve the ecological situation," he said in the time of teleconference on the industrialization day in Astana.
He believes the belt road "will result in the fact that active flow of cargoes from China to Europe will go in better conditions".
The belt road construction is planned for 2018-2022, the length of the road- 66 km, the planned capacity up to 38 000 cars per day. It will be equipped with 38 bridges and seven transport intersections. The planned driving speed - up to 150 km per hour.
